EFTSOMP2009 - Workshop on Electric Fields, Turbulence
                 and Self-Organisation in Magnetized Plasmas

The workshop is organised as a satellite meeting of the 36th EPS Conference on Controlled Fusion and Plasma Physics (EPS2009).

Scope

	- Theory of turbulent transport (self-organisation, structure formation)
	- Turbulence simulation
	- Self-regulation of turbulent transport and improved confinement regimes
	- Physics of ELMs and blob transport in the SOL
	- Turbulence measurements and comparison with theory/simulation
	- Diagnostic techniques for electric fields and fluctuations

Presentations

Oral presentations are envisaged. Overhead and data projectors will be available.

Separate sections are foreseen in Diagnostics, Simulations and Fluctuation studies among others. A section will consist of an invited talk (35+5), oral contributions (20+5), finally a summary and a round table discussion.

Participants are invited to register by sending an E-mail to eftsomp2009 (at) rmki.kfki.hu . Please include your name, affiliation and institute's address.

Fees: 160 euro. Invoice and information on the payment will be sent to each participant after acceptance of abstracts.

Accomodation

A special rate is provided at the Hilton Sofia Hotel for our participants for the duration of the EPS conference and the EFTSOMP workshop. Single room: 80 euro/day, double room: 90 euro/day. A link for the room reservation will be sent to the registered participants.
