SUMMER PRACTICUM IN THEORETICAL PHYSICS!

Several employees of our institute take part in researches connected to the heavy ion experiments carried out at CERN, which seek for observation of exotic forms of quark matter.
In order to understand the transition of quarks into hadrons it is necessary to investigate the hydrodynamics of matter at extremely high energy density.
Students attended to the project will study approximate solutions to relativistic hydrodynamics with large longitudinal but negligible transverse velocities under varying assumptions about the equation of state.
