About citations
The citations collected for several items of my publication
list include all citations:
- self-citations, where I am author of both
the referred and referring article or conference talk
(marked by a *)
- indirect self-citations, where a co-author of
the referred document is author of the referring document
- alien citations, where none of the above apply.
In my oppinion - although the alien citations show
the genuine interest in a scientific work - the first
two type of citations are also not uninteresting.
They reflect how useful a given publication proved
to be for one (or many) of the authors themselves
in their later scientific work.
Technical note:
by citations only the first author's name
is indicated.
