Computer Networking Center
KFKI Research Institute for Particle and Nuclear Physics
of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
The Computer Networking Center is responsible for planning, installation, and operation of the central server systems, planning and management of the campus-wide computer network and for user support of the five on-campus research institutes. CNC manages Budapest Grid of KFKI RMKI.
CNC's research and development tasks comprise projects in the fields of data processing, computer science and information technology. The special field of the Laboratory of Speech Technology for Rehabilitation (LSTR) is the development a set of integrated text-to-speech tools for the blind, especially the BraiLab talking computer family.
CNC is a regional center of the National Information Infrastructure Development Institute.
